The Lake

Le Planchon Lake of over 3 acres sits in acres of beautiful
French countryside partly surrounded by trees, down in a valley, there is access
all around the lake making choosing a spot to fish a difficult
one.
Le Planchon Lake has the Classification of a Fish Farm due to
it's optimum water quality and temperature, this makes not only
an ideal water for breeding but also shows incredible growth
rates of the existing stock.
We are not an overstocked commercial
fishery, the balance for the eco system is just right. If you
think this means you wont have a good time or have good catch

The Lake has good stock levels of uncaught Carp upto 40lb+ with
the average being approx 23lb this
includes Mirror, Common and the local French Royale, Tench,
Perch (3lb is a common size) Roach, Pike and Zanda.
Le Planchon Lake has always been maintained to a very high
standard with Regular draining/cleaning therefore is very clean
with minimum silt levels and no nuisance fish.
The Lake is fed by 2 streams and 2 natural springs, this
provides good water levels all year round. The Lake bed is part
gravel, part clay and some silt at the top end of the lake where
the streams enter.
