Do I need any licenses or Permits?

France 4 fishing is a Fully Closed Water meaning that no permits or Licenses are required for either Day or Night Fishing!

Do You cater for special diets?

Yes We Do. We specialize in catering for all types of dietary requirements including but not limited to:

Vegetarians
Vegans
Diabetics

 If you do have any specific Requirements, Please let us know in advance and we will do our upmost to accommodate.

When are you open ?

We are open all year round although to give the water a rest, we operate a season from March to October, routine maintenance closures do occur.

What are the rules ?

These rules are in place for the safety of the fish, the surrounding environment and the anglers.

 

Anyone found not adhering to these rules will be asked to pack up and leave the fishery immediately without any monies refunded whatsoever.

 

·                     Swims to be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure and cleared of all rubbish.

·                     Swims available from 2pm.

·                     Always follow our 'fish care' policy (further details available-click here)

·                     No more than 3 rods per angler

·                     No rods to be left unattended

·                     Venue's own Unhooking mats, Weigh slings & Landing nets  to be used at all times - we supply these free of charge

·                     Antiseptic treatment to be used on fishes mouths and bodies for treatment of hook holds and other injuries that may be sustained whilst playing the fish - we stock this onsite.

·                     All fish to be returned ASAP and with care and the fish given enough time to recover before release.

·                     No keep nets or sacking fish.

·                     Micro-barbed hooks only (no barbless)

·                     No line under 15lb breaking strain

·                     No leadcore

·                     No braided mainline

·                     No shock leaders

·                     No nuts of any kind including tiger nuts, however other particle baits are allowed but must be properly prepared onsite.

·                     No Fires and BBQ's only in dedicated areas.

·                     No swimming or wading in the lake.

·                     No littering - Please use bins provided. Smokers are respectfully asked to use sand buckets and ashtrays provided.

·                     All visitors are kindly asked to show consideration to other anglers and the surrounding areas this includes turning down ringtones on mobiles and when using mobile phone whilst on the lake doing so as quietly as possible also when night fishing keeping bite alarms at a low level.

·                     Under 16's to be supervised at all times.

  • Only Baits purchased onsite may be used for the welfare of the fish.

Terms & Conditions

Reservation: Your holiday booking will be reserved when we have received your deposit and completed booking form. You will receive confirmation via email.

 

Deposit: A deposit of 1/3 (one third) of the total cost of your holiday is payable when you book your holiday. This is non refundable.

 

Balance: The balance of your holiday is due 6 weeks prior to arrival.

 

Payment: Payment for both deposits and final balance can be made by personal cheque or securely online with a credit or debit card via PayPal (payments through PayPal are subject to a 2% card handling fee).

 

Price: The price of your holiday is fixed at time of booking and will not be altered in anyway unless you decide to change your package.

 

Cancellation:  If you cancel your holiday you will be liable for the following costs:

                        more than 6 weeks before holiday date = Deposit

                        less than 6 week before holiday date = Full balance of holiday

 

In the event that we have to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances we will always try and give as much notice as possible and we will refund all monies that have been paid to us (unless fallen under catogory of force majeure). We cannot be held liable for any travel expenses, loss of income or any other compensations.

 

Insurance: You are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel insurance for everyone in your party, this should cover medical expensives, personal injury, death, public liability, personal belongings etc. UK residents can obtain an EHIC (former E111) for medical cover either online or through their local Post Office.

 

Passport/Visa's/Health Certificates: It is your responsibility to ensure you have all the relevant documentation. All British holidaymakers should ensure they hold a Full 10 (ten) Year British Passport valid for aleast 3 months beyond their travelling date. Non British should seek advise from their Embassy for more information on requirements needed.

We will not be held liable for any loss, damage or any other costs if you fail to obtain these documents and no refunds will be given. It is solely your responsibility.

 

Force Majeure; We will not be held liable for any loss, delay or cancellation due to the following : Fire, Storm, Flood, Closure of Ports, Weather Conditions, Acts of God, Riots, Polictical unrest, Industrial disputes, war or any other event or circumstances beyond our control.

 

Liabilty: Under no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the amount paid to us for your holiday. You must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal safety. We accept no liability for any death or personal injury.

 

Fishing Rules: All visitors agree to adhere to the fishing rules stated by France4fishing - Le Planchon.

 

Exclusive Use: When booking 'Exclusive Use', you are booking your party the use of the lake for your sole use for the duration of your stay. The only exception would be if the owner wishes to fish but would do so with your consent. If not booking 'Exclusive Use' please be aware that if remaining spaces can be filled they will be.

 

Pets: Unfortunetly we are unable to accept pets of any kind.

 

Firearms & Weapons: Firearms and weapons of any kind are not permitted under any circumstances.

 

Hire Equipment: All equipment hired or loaned to you will remain the property of the fishery France4fishing - Le Planchon and must be returned in the same condition at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will result in being charged. Tackle hire and Gite (accommodation) are subject to refundable deposits.

It is the hirers responsibilty to ensure they check all rental equipment at the begginging of the rental period, any damages should be reported immediately.

During your stay you are expected to take reasonable care of all hired equipment and property leaving it clean, tidy and undamaged.

Checks will be made at the end of the hire period and any damages will be subject to an appropriate sum being deducted from deposits.

 

Deposits for Hire Equipment: Tackle Hire =100 euro / 70 GBP (per party)

                                                  Accommodation =100 euro / 70GBP (per party)

These are payable on arrival at the venue at the start of the hire period.

 

Termination: We reserve the right to immediately terminate the services we are contractually obliged to provide you if we, or our employees, consider your behaviour likely to cause unacceptable annoyance, offensive or harm to other persons or damage to fish or property. Or reasons specified within our rules.

 

Complaints: Our policy is 'If you have enjoyed yourself tell others, if not please tell us'. So in the unlikely event of a complaint by yourself or anyone in your party, please let us know immediately. You will always be able to contact a member of our team.
